Mid-America Science Park
The Mid-America Science Park is one of the most comprehensive science parks in the country, consisting of three interconnected centers: Business Incubation and Acceleration Center; Training and Workforce Development Center; and Worldwide Communication and Conference Center. MASP offers entrepreneurs, researchers, government and defense industry personnel, students and visitors access to 112,00 sq. ft. of premium space equipped with high-tech capabilities.
The Business Incubation and Acceleration Center provides a dynamic environment to help emerging growth companies succeed including: customizable wet and dry labs; advanced computing technology and fiber optics capabilities; rapid prototyping equipment; and fully-equipped machine ship with water jet cutting services.
MASP serves employers who offer ongoing training and certification opportunities to employees and individuals seeking to advance their skills and knowledge. With 3,500 square feet of training space, the Training and Workforce Development Center includes a lab furnished with Amatrol training equipment for advanced manufacturing technology and green energy training, a 25-seat computer classroom, and a wide range of equipment to facilitate hands-on learning.
MASP collaborates with educational partners to provide instruction, presenting the best possible education program in the Midwest. The communication center complements onsite instruction through virtual audiovisual training with remote colleges and universities.
Additionally, MASP acts as a venue for regional businesses, industry associations, university groups, local government entities, defense industry and nonprofits to host meetings and events. The park is equipped with audiovisual resources to facilitate global communication from anywhere in the facility. The center also offers two secure rooms compliant with defense protocols.
